Job summary

HealthOp Solutions seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a specialty clinic in Tucson, AZ. This on-site team focuses on gastroenterology, hepatology, liver disease, and clinical research, offering a structured weekday schedule with Friday admin time.

New graduates are encouraged to apply; experienced APPs can gain autonomy and expertise while collaborating with physicians and research teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current or eligible Arizona NP or PA license.
• Appropriate national board certification.
• Must maintain RN/NP licensure (NP candidates) or NCCPA certification (PA candidates).
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients within scope of practice.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, consultations, pretreatment reviews, and follow-up visits.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians on complex cases and refer as needed.
• Contribute to clinical research opportunities and trial education.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and participate in APP call coverage.
