Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a North Jersey Multifamily Superintendent to oversee field operations on ground-up multifamily construction projects from sitework through final completion. You will coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, enforce safety and quality, and ensure timely delivery.

With over 10 years of Superintendent experience and a background in working for a General Contractor, you will lead day-to-day site activities, manage multiple trades, and collaborate with PMs, owners,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction Superintendent experience.
• Experience working for a General Contractor.
• Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience overseeing projects from sitework through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and building systems.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project schedules and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of jobsite safety requirements and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to successfully lead day-to-day field operations with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on ground-up multifamily construction projects.
• Manage projects from sitework and foundations through interiors and final closeout.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades on site.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones are met.
• Conduct daily site walks and monitor construction progress.
• Ensure all work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Enforce site safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineers.
• Manage inspections and coordinate with local building officials.
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize delays.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate upcoming project needs.
• Manage punch list activities and drive projects through final completion.
