Shree Narayani Networking Solutions Pvt Ltd seeks an experienced Lead Node.js Engineer to drive architecture, development, and delivery of backend microservices and APIs in a cloud-native, agile environment. You will lead technical direction, mentor engineers, design REST/GraphQL endpoints, optimize databases, and guide CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and multi-cloud deployments.

Local candidates in Livingston, NJ will be onsite three days per week with hybrid flexibility; USC/GC open; interviews

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total software development experience with 3+ years in a Lead or Principal capacity.
• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js, Express.js/NestJS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong background in building and scaling RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
• Hands-on experience with message brokers and event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Experience with DevOps automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of mentoring developers and articulating technical architecture to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and code reviews for junior and mid-level engineers.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and event-driven architectures.

Location: Livingston, NJ (Hybrid 3 days Onsite per week)

Work Authorization: Open to USC/GC

Target Rates: Up to $75/hr on C2C or 1099 | Max $65/hr on W2

Position Summary
