Job summary

Orono Public Schools is seeking a Night Lead Custodian (FT) at Night Lead (e1/ Custodian) for Schumann Elementary & Intermediate School in Orono, MN. The role leads the evening custodial team to keep the building safe, clean, and well-maintained while supporting events.

Responsibilities include leadership of the night crew, facilities care, and event support. Licenses such as Certified Pool Operator and boiler license are required or obtainable.

• Ability to manage night operations and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• Licenses: Certified Pool Operator License required (or ability to obtain).
• Appropriate boiler license required (or ability to obtain).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and/or walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat, and/or climb stairs, Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, Ability to work in a variety of conditions and environments (e.g., dusty, wet, cold, hot, high humidity, noisy, indoors, outdoors, at heights, and in small spaces).
