Job summary

The Brain Institute Administration in Miami seeks a Research Scientist to design health outcomes research, collect and analyze data from clinical data, questionnaires, and interviews, and prepare reports and publications. You will collaborate with clinical and research teams to plan and conduct original studies and support hospital initiatives.

You will develop outcomes measures, create data collection forms (REDCap), perform statistical analyses with SPSS/SAS/R, and contribute to grant writing

Qualifications

Ph.D in Neuroscience with 4–7 years in health outcomes or social science measure development.
Experience with mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) and publications.

Responsibilities

Design health outcomes research and manage data collection across sites.
Develop outcomes measures, conduct item writing and cognitive interviewing.
Prepare scientific publications and presentations for meetings.
Create and maintain data collection forms (REDCap) and manage data entry.
Perform statistical analyses on large datasets; report results with visuals.
Collaborate with internal/external teams to support best practices in data handling.
Assist with grant writing, reporting, and identifying funding sources.
