UPMC in Pittsburgh seeks a Lead EEG/EMG Technician for night shift in a fully remote position. You will oversee the EEG/EMG team, manage scheduling, ensure patient safety, and coordinate care and billing in a fast-paced monitoring environment.
Candidates must have EEG or EMG credentialing, act independently, and maintain data, equipment, and policies while mentoring junior staff and ensuring timely handoffs and quality of care.

We are looking for someone who will be working independently and must have a great deal of integrity and commitment to excellence. This is a fast-paced monitoring assignment that requires you to make swift decisions and actions that positively affect the continuity of patient care. You will need to address EEG findings/patient care plans to ensure appropriate hand off of the patients is timely and effective.
Purpose: Function as a Lead Tech in the appropriate area and to ensure quality of services relative to staffing, patient scheduling, and operation of equipment and supplies. Oversee the work of the EEG or EMG Tech I, II, and III positions and act as a resource person on day-to-day issues or for problem resolutions. Perform routine and advanced EEG testing, in the EEG Lab, the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), and critical care areas.
