Overview




The Lead Network Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring that the network is robust, secure, scalable, and optimized to support business operations. In this leadership role, the Lead Network Engineer will manage a team of network engineers, mentor junior staff, and provide strategic direction for network-related projects. This position requires advanced technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex network environments across data centers, offices, and remote locations. The Lead Network Engineer will report to the Project Manager and provide leadership to the Network Engineering team.






Responsibilities




    Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Ensure the network is robust, secure, scalable, and optimized for business operations.
  • Manage a team of network engineers and mentor junior staff.
  • Provide strategic direction for network-related projects.
  • Manage complex network environments across data centers, offices, and remote locations.





Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field of study (experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, with a total of 14+ years).
  • Active Top Secret Clearance or equivalent.
  • Advanced technical expertise in network engineering.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage complex network environments.
  • Preferred certifications and training (or similar equivalents):
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
    • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
