Job summary

Mphasis in the United States is seeking a Client WAN Engineer III to design and deploy remote customer network connectivity for client services. You will interface with client business units, customers and internal teams to ensure high quality, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• The Client WAN Engineer is expected to possess in depth WAN Engineering skills in order to develop best practices, refine operational procedure and constantly think pro-actively incorporating automation to reduce manual tasks and increase productivity.
• This role requires a self-motivated, detail oriented individual, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills and has significant experience in supporting large scale, enterprise class networks.
• 5+ Years of related IT experience.
• Hands on experience in software development specifically in Python, GIT, Ansible and YAML
• Hands on experience in Layer 3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) route distribution, router filtering.
• Hands on experience with various network solutions (SDWAN, MPLS, IPsec, S2S, DMVPN)
• Hands on experience in Layer 2 protocols (HSRP, VRRP)

• A Client WAN Engineer will be a key participant in leading technologies, innovation and building access to our enhanced network architecture.

• Load balancers and Firewall knowledge a plus.
