Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience as a network architect or in a senior-level network engineering role.
• Extensive experience with network automation tools and practices.
• Strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-level network solutions.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, and VRFs.
• Very strong proficiency in Python programming and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.
• Technical network security background and SDN familiarity (Arista CVP, Cisco ACI).
• Excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills; leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation strategies for network configuration, monitoring, and management.
• Design and maintain scripts and tools to automate network tasks and workflows.
• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using Python and shell scripts in virtual environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
• Deploy code to Development, QA, Staging, and Production servers via CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead architectural discussions and decisions on network and automation.
• Collaborate with network, DevOps, and software teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and configurations.
