Job summary

Trigyn Technologies, Inc. in Albany, NY is seeking a Lead .NET Developer to drive full SDLC for enterprise applications. You will code in ASP.NET MVC/C#, leverage Oracle SQL, WCF services, and modern JavaScript frameworks while mentoring teams and coordinating with ITS groups.

The role requires strong backend design, SOA integration, report development with Crystal Reports, and adherence to accessibility and HIPAA requirements. This is an on-site position in Albany.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Use Visual Studio 2017+ and code with MVC, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF.
• Prepare scripts to modify Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers and views; write stored procedures and packages; data migration.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot reports and data issues using Crystal Reports.
• Mentor and guide other developers and consultants on debugging, security, and deployment.
• Use GIT-SCM, Tortoise GIT or Sourcetree, or TFS for source control and branching.
• Handle incidents/service requests via ITSM; coordinate releases with ITS teams.
• Diagnose production issues; join bridge calls and escalate critical issues.
• Report status to supervisor and manage ongoing tasks.

Job description

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Lead .NET Developer in Albany, NY.

Description

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF.
• Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
• Use a source code repository, such as GIT-SCM, Tortoise GIT or Sourcetree, or TFS for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
• Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups.
• Coordinate service requests with various ITS Chief Operating Office personnel for releases and changes for the application.
• Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
• Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.

• 108 Months experience as lead developer on projects performing and implementing systems design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance and security procedures.
• 108 Months experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio to design & develop complex n-tier web applications using ASP.NET/MVC/Razor and/or C#
• 96 Months experience interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements
• 85 Months Writing SQL and PL/SQL queries, updates, stored procedures, functions and cursors, and Oracle SQL query optimization using Oracle 11G or higher
• 96 Months experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .NET web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SOAP/Restful APIs, message and queue processing
• 36 Months experience developing web applications that conform to requirements contained in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0)
• 36 months experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
• 48 months experience developing reports with Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
• 36 Months experience designing & implementing applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI). Full understanding of HIPPA compliance.
