Job summary

CACI is seeking a Navigation Systems Integration Engineer to lead IPTs for platform-based navigation integration on US Navy programs.

The role requires active SECRET clearance, a B.S. in engineering, and 7+ years' Navy navigation systems experience, including inertial navigation, GPS, and electronic charting, plus shipboard networks and SE processes. You will coordinate across offices to deliver integrated capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance or U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain.
• BS in engineering or technical STEM discipline from an accredited institution.
• 7 yrs of experience with US Navy Navigation systems (e.g., inertial navigation, GPS, electronic charting).
• Experience with shipboard data networks.
• Experience with NAVSEA program offices, PARMs and SHAPMs.
• Experience with standard Systems Engineering processes and system architecture design.
• Familiarity with interface/block diagrams (FBDs, FIDS, ICDs, CBDs).
• Experience integrating electronic systems aboard US Navy vessels.
• Ability to track schedules and coordinate IPTs across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support navigation IPTs for platform-based integration of navigation elements.
• Review and track delivery schedules for IWS 6N elements for SCN platforms.
• Develop and maintain Functional Interface Diagrams (FID) for the Navigation Enclave interfaces.
• Plan and schedule Land-Based Test Events for platform integration.
• Review Technical Data Packages, Ship Install Diagrams, Inter-Connection Diagrams, and Cable Block Diagrams.
