Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Elyria, OH is seeking an Experienced Machine Operator for Formax National Header with Thread roller on 1st shift. You will start, run, and monitor a progressive header, reading blueprints and adjusting dies and tooling to ensure part quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read part drawings, specifications and tolerances.
• Prior machine operator experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Prior gauge experience preferred.
• Tow Motor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start, run, monitor, and shut down a progressive header safely and efficiently.
• Read drawings, specifications, tolerances and work instructions.
• Install, align, and adjust dies, punches, cutters and transfer components.
• Identify and correct issues such as misfeeds, tool wear and jams.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all health and safety regulations.
