Job summary

British American Household Staffing is seeking a full-time nanny to care for three children (ages 5, 2, and 2) in Greenwich, CT. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:30am-7:00pm. Role may be live-in or live-out with housing provided for the right candidate.

The family seeks a true professional educated in childhood development who can lead and guide the team and provide continuity of care with a co-nanny. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Loving, warm, and engaging with children.
• Able to act as a team with parents and other caregivers, while also proactive and able to provide full charge care as needed.
• Provide structure and boundaries.
• Willing to work with a co-nanny, communicating as needed to provide continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, engaging home environment that matches each child's developmental stage.
• Manage the morning routine.
• Drive children to school and activities.
• Plan activities, playdates, and classes in advance.
• Supervise meals, hygiene, and bedtimes.
• Assist with homework as children grow older.
• Prepare child-friendly meals.
• Do child-related laundry.
• Keep children's spaces organized.
• Occasional travel with the family when needed.
