Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in deep learning research, focusing on multimodal or language models.
• Experience leading research teams and delivering technological innovations.
• Experience with modern deep learning frameworks and distributed training on clusters.
• PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field preferred with multimodal AI/vision focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a research agenda focused on multimodal pre-training, architecture design, and novel deep learning techniques for spatial computing.
• Develop models that integrate vision, audio, and sensor data for unified understanding of the physical world.
• Publish original research in top ML/CV conferences to advance Google’s leadership.
