Job summary

Trueline, a California-based general contractor, seeks a Lead Superintendent in Palm Desert to oversee a 200+ unit multifamily development from startup to turnover. You’ll lead field teams, coordinate schedule, ensure quality, and uphold safety standards on a large-scale site in Southern California.

You will mentor Assistant Superintendents, coordinate with management, and drive construction planning while maintaining strong client and partner relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction leadership experience in the field.
• Experience as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent on multifamily projects.
• Delivery of large residential developments of 200+ units.
• Knowledge of sequencing, scheduling, logistics, and site operations.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Familiar with inspections, turnover, punch lists, and closeout.
• Proficiency with Procore and construction management technology.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all onsite construction activities from project startup through turnover.
• Lead subcontractors, field staff, and trade partners to maintain schedule and productivity goals.
• Develop and execute short-term and long-range construction planning efforts.
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries, manpower, and daily field operations.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and project quality.
• Conduct regular site walks and quality control reviews.
• Manage punch list completion and project closeout activities.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and enforce jobsite safety standards.
• Collaborate with project management, consultants, inspectors, and ownership representatives.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and other field personnel.
• Identify and resolve field challenges before they impact project milestones.
