Lead Multifamily Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a qualified Lead Multifamily Construction Superintendent for a permanent, salaried position with a well-established construction company in Tampa. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing field operations for multi-family construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA, HAZCOM, NFPA, and other regulations.
• Develop comprehensive understanding of project scope and objectives.
• Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, focusing on critical path and timely completion.
• Lead and train on-site teams, including Assistant Superintendents and Project Engineers.
• Oversee project planning, including site utilization, temporary facilities, and material logistics.
• Conduct pre-construction surveys and document existing conditions.
• Act as the primary onsite contact for owners, consultants, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Manage subcontractor work, including schedules, safety, and quality control.
• Collaborate with project management to monitor and control project budgets and costs.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory construction role, specifically in multi-family projects.
• Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and travel locally as needed.
• Certifications like OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid are advantageous but not mandatory.
