Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction field experience with progressive Superintendent responsibilities.
• Strong ground-up multifamily construction experience required.
• Experience completing projects from ground-up through turnover.
• Knowledge of podium, wood-frame, concrete, and Type III/Type V construction.
• Strong understanding of structural, architectural, and MEP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong scheduling, subcontractor management, and field coordination skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with large multifamily projects (100+ units) preferred.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera P6; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations from site mobilization through project completion.
• Lead jobsite safety, quality control, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Develop and maintain short-term and overall project schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, manpower, materials, deliveries, equipment, and site logistics.
• Manage construction sequencing from sitework through turnover.
• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents for constructability.
• Coordinate RFIs, field changes, inspections, and resolution of construction issues.
• Conduct daily site walks and ensure work meets plans and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate upcoming schedule requirements.
• Coordinate city and third-party inspections.
• Monitor production and proactively identify potential schedule delays.
• Manage punch list, unit turnover, final inspections, and project closeout.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and other field team members.
