Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience; 6 years of related experience with a master’s degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile team execution and use of digital engineering / systems engineering toolsets such as JIRA, Confluence, DOORS and/or Cameo.
  • Experience performing Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MSA) of complex systems (e.g., system performance, mission/engagement analysis, system‑of‑systems behavior) to inform design decisions and trade studies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a multi‑disciplined systems engineering team supporting the Product Definition IPT through the Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) phase, including planning, tasking, performance management and staff development.
  • Perform and oversee systems engineering activities including system architecture development, functional analysis, requirements development and allocation, interface definition and requirements verification planning across the weapon system.
  • Apply Modeling, Simulation & Analysis (MSA) methods, along with supporting model‑based systems engineering and digital engineering tools to develop, analyze and maintain system models, requirements baselines and technical data products.
  • Plan, coordinate and track cost, schedule, technical performance and quality for assigned work packages, ensuring completion of projects on schedule and within budget consistent with program objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including program leadership, IPT/product owners, specialty engineering disciplines and customer representatives, to define scope and support technical reviews.
  • Develop and execute verification and validation strategies, including test planning, analytical verification and requirements traceability.
