Overview

Job Title: Lead Morpheus Consultant

Location: Remote

Type: Corp to Corp/1099

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $70 - 75 per hour

Contract Length: 6 months - Potentially Renewable

We are seeking an experienced Lead Morpheus Consultant to join our team on a remote basis for a 6-month renewable contract. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the adoption, operational success, and value realization of the Morpheus platform within our organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in stakeholder engagement, organizational change management, service catalog management, identity and access management, cloud operations, and tooling standardization for the Morpheus platform. You will serve as a strategic leader and trusted advisor, ensuring the platform’s success while fostering innovation and collaboration across diverse teams.

Responsibilities
    • Define the vision, roadmap, and KPIs for the Morpheus platform to ensure it delivers measurable value.
    • Own platform-level strategy and operations as the single point of contact for stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align platform objectives with organizational goals.
    • Drive Adoption & Change (Organizational Change Management)
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management and adoption plan, leveraging campaigns, enablement initiatives, and communication strategies.
    • Implement a champions network to drive grassroots adoption and collaboration across teams.
    • Deliver training, documentation, and other enablement materials to empower end-users.
    • Continuously assess adoption progress, remove barriers to platform usage, and iterate based on feedback.
    • Service Catalogue & Developer Portal Management
    • Design and curate self-service offerings on the Morpheus platform, including golden patterns/blueprints, and robust developer/user journeys.
    • Establish and enforce governance policies for the service catalog to ensure scalability and compliance.
    • Collaborate with teams to enhance the developer portal and ensure a seamless user experience.
    • Roles, Groups, & Access (Identity & Access Management)
    • Build a sustainable RBAC model that defines user roles, tenancy boundaries, and approval workflows.
    • Partner with Security/IAM to implement and manage compliant access operations, defining robust security guardrails.
    • Cloud Platform Operations Interface
    • Work closely with infrastructure and operations teams to align Morpheus platform policies with enterprise integrations, including CMDB, ITSM, and SCM systems.
    • Define and refine release processes and deployment methodologies to ensure reliability and alignment with SLOs.
    • Help create comprehensive runbooks for operational support and incident management.
    • Methods & Tooling Stewardship
    • Evangelize the best practices for leveraging Morpheus platform features, templates, and APIs to maximize efficiency and innovation.
    • Drive standards for methodologies and tools across teams, ensuring consistency in processes and workflows.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to provide continuous support and thought leadership on Morpheus and related tools.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in implementing and managing the Morpheus platform, including use-case development, platform optimization, and adoption strategies.
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement and managing complex cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong background in organizational change management, including the design and delivery of adoption initiatives for tools/platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud service management and developer portal curation with demonstrated success in designing service catalogs and workflows.
  • Experience defining and operating access controls and RBAC in partnership with security and compliance teams.
  • Broad understanding of cloud infrastructure operations and integration with ITSM, CMDB, and software configuration management systems.
  • Skilled in standardizing tools and methods to ensure consistent operational excellence across teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn strategic goals into actionable plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts to a diverse audience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL, as well as DevOps tools and practices.
  • Experience in delivering training programs and enablement for technical and non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in key Morpheus platform components, APIs, and related automation tools.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms or IT governance are a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure, ITIL, PMP).
