Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Montessori Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of preschoolers, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs. You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Follow a comprehensive Montessori curriculum
  2. Teach beginning reading and math skills
  3. Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
  4. Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
  5. Communicate with parents and other school personnel
  6. Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications:

  1. Have completed at least 6 Early Childhood Education units and be willing to take a total of 12 Early Childhood Education units
  2. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
  5. Problem-solving and mediation skills
