Job summary

Lead Mold Maker

Hanson International, located in St. Joseph, Michigan, specializes in the design, build, sample, and inspection of precision molds - primarily for the die cast industry. Hanson International is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a night shift lead mold maker position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project management.
• Machining of die components in a CNC machine tool (Milltronics preferred).
• Fitting die components to cavity and holder blocks
• Die spotting and bluing.
• Assembly and disassembly of dies.
• Plumbing of cooling circuits.
• Understand all machining processes used in mold/die manufacturing.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years in building die cast dies.
• Journeyman mold maker certificate.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma.
• Active learning, good judgment, and time management skills.
• Strong math and communication skills.

• Ability to work as a team to achieve goals.
• Good mechanical knowledge.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
