Job summary

North American Search Group is seeking a Lead Modeling Actuary in the United States to build end-to-end predictive models for pricing segmentation, lifetime value, and loss costs.

You will take ownership of complex model development, guide regulatory filings, and mentor junior modelers while collaborating with actuarial, underwriting, product, and IT teams.

The role requires ACAS/FCAS preferred, 5+ years of hands-on modeling experience, strong SQL, and Python alongside actuarial tools.

Qualifications

• ACAS or FCAS preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying predictive models in an insurance environment.
• Strong SQL proficiency; Python preferred alongside traditional actuarial tools.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end predictive models for pricing segmentation, lifetime value, loss costs, and conversion/retention strategies.
• Take direct ownership of complex model development, provide technical oversight, and establish project execution plans.
• Partner with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product, and IT to guide regulatory filings and defensible pricing strategies.
• Coach junior modelers and champion adoption of advanced technologies and data tools.
