Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an Engine Calibration Engineer to define, improve, and deploy model-based and physics-based calibration methods for gasoline engine applications.

You will create repeatable workflows, templates, validation criteria, and model correlation techniques enabling analysts to deliver robust SS Nominal, SS Emissions, Off-Nominal, and Transient calibrations bridging physical systems, simulation models, and production quality expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in gasoline engine calibration or model-based/physics-based development.
• Experience with dyno calibration on Boosted/TJI engine technologies.
• Strong knowledge of ICE subsystems: combustion, valvetrain, fuel, boost, EGR, emissions controls.
• Understanding of release workflows, validation planning, optimization methods, and control-system interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead gasoline base calibration methodology and SS Nominal/Emissions/Off-Nominal/Transient calibration methods.
• Define release-readiness criteria and documentation standards for calibration freeze and software release.
• Develop model-based/physics-based methods with defined inputs, assumptions, limitations, and acceptance criteria.
• Define model correlation methods across vehicle, engine dyno, HIL/SIL/MIL, and virtual datasets.
• Mentor engineers and drive consistent documentation and repeatable calibration workflows.
