Job summary

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a cross-platform mobile team delivering engaging features for Disney+. You will manage iOS and Android engineers, partnering with product, design, backend, and data science teams to ship scalable experiences for millions of users.

You will drive technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality delivery while navigating a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years of related work experience
Bachelor’s degree or better in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent job experience
Excellent communication and leadership abilities to ensure effective growth and development of team
5+ years of production experience with at least one major mobile platform (iOS with Swift/SwiftUI or Android with Kotlin)
Experience with mobile application development lifecycle and software delivery practices
Significant experience leading teams and managing people
Demonstrated successful partnership with cross-functional counterparts including product, design, and backend
Ability to navigate complex corporate environments and influence key stakeholders and partners

Responsibilities
