Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services in Mobile, Alabama is seeking experienced diesel technicians to perform on-site maintenance and repairs for trucks and trailers at customer locations. You’ll handle brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical systems, and more, with DOT-compliant documentation and quick turnaround.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions and DOT forms.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Comfort with using a tablet/computer for work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, etc.).
• Lead and train other technicians when needed.
• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle components and manage parts inventory.
• Close repair orders and document hours on a mobile device.
