Parking Lot Painting Company (PLP Co.) seeks a Lead Mobile Diesel Mechanic & Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to own diagnostics and repairs across Greater Pittsburgh and Western PA. You will operate from a mobile service truck, performing complex repairs away from the shop with a focus on uptime.

The role demands 3–5+ years of diesel tech experience, CDL training is provided, and you’ll earn $35–$55+ per hour with significant overtime and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Minimum 3–5+ years as fleet mechanic or heavy equipment field tech.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver license with clean record (no major violations in 5 years).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical/electrical/hydraulic failures on-site.
• Perform preventive maintenance and overhauls using OEM blueprints and schematics.
• Provide rapid emergency field and roadside repair support.
• Weld and fabricate field components as needed.
• Ensure safety inspections and regulatory compliance for fleet assets.
