Job summary

ASAPP is seeking a machine learning engineer to design and build NLP models and production-grade ML systems that power agentic AI. You will work closely with Research, Product, and Platform teams to evaluate, iterate, and scale models in production.

Role requires deep NLP experience, hands-on ML engineering, and the ability to mentor peers while advancing scalable, robust AI solutions using Python, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Hands-on experience with NLP/LLMs or agentic systems.
• Experience building production ML systems.
• Strong Python programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ML evaluation systems for agentic/LLM architectures.
• Translate research ideas into production-grade ML systems with measurable impact.
• Collaborate with Research, Product, and Platform teams to productize experiments into AI solutions.
• Stay current with ML/NLP/LLM advancements and contribute to technical discussions.
• Mentor and support engineers, promoting best practices and architecture alignment.
