As the Lead Machine Learning Engineer for Meraki Assurance, you will lead engineering teams to advance Network Assurance applications through machine learning and AI solutions. Your goal will be to elevate Meraki Dashboard's innovation, leveraging AI to improve simplicity, scalability, and security, addressing the needs of large-scale network administrators worldwide.

You will guide a team of skilled ML/AI engineers, fostering collaboration and building strong partnerships with engineering leaders, UX designers, product management, and security experts. Collaboration across functions is key to integrating ML/AI features into the Dashboard platform effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Set the technical vision for the Meraki Assurance ML/AI roadmap in collaboration with senior engineering leaders and product management.
2. Guide ML engineering teams to define short, medium, and long-term goals aligned with the vision.
3. Contribute to recruiting strategies to build a diverse and inclusive team, making hiring decisions accordingly.
4. Mentor and coach engineers through technical challenges.
5. Work on projects across networking domains to help scale ML solutions by managing large data volumes.

Ideal Candidate:

1. 12+ years of professional experience in machine learning, data engineering, software engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
2. Experience building large-scale AI models and systems using MLOps practices, including deep learning with frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
3. Proficiency in writing robust, maintainable, and extendable code in Python and/or R.
4. Experience with complex data sets, ETL pipelines, SQL, and data engineering.
5. Expertise in cloud architecture and technologies such as AWS, Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Terraform.
6. Experience in building scalable, production-ready Generative AI solutions.
7. Understanding of Realtime technologies such as Kafka and ClickHouse.
