Job summary

CleanPath Restoration™ is seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician in Florida, with a focus on water, fire, mold, and storm damage. You will guide mitigation projects, operate drying equipment, and ensure safety and quality on every site.

Applicants with 3+ years in restoration or related trades, a valid FL Mold Remediation Contractor license, and IICRC training will be preferred. Competitive hourly pay, plus bonuses, and per diem travel are offered. Tampa or Orlando location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred for entry-level supervision.
• IICRC certification or training opportunities are available.
• Experience in restoration, construction, or related trades is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water, fire, mold, and storm damage mitigation projects.
• Set up, operate, and monitor drying and dehumidification equipment.
• Perform demolition, cleaning, and debris removal as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, tools, and spaces.
• Accurately complete job documentation with notes and photos using mobile software.
• Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and teammates.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency calls.

Position Title: Lead Mitigation Technician - Florida

Pay Range: $20 - $26+ per hour, plus performance bonuses

Sign-On Bonus Opportunity: $1,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who hold an active Mold Remediation Contractor (MRC) License in the State of Florida. CleanPath Restoration™ will cover all ongoing licensing and maintenance fees.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with water, fire, mold, and storm damage mitigation projects.
• Set up, operate, and monitor drying and dehumidification equipment.

• Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in restoration, construction, or a related trade preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Dependable Transportation
• IICRC certification preferred (training and certification opportunities available).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
• Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
• Dependable and self-motivated, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Active Contractor Mold Remediation License in the State of Florida (a PLUS)

Work Schedule

• Full-Time: Monday - Friday
• Emergency/on-call rotation as needed for restoration response.
