Job summary
Rocky Top Restoration is seeking a Mitigation Technician — Lead Regional Property Recovery and Emergency Restoration Projects in Knoxville, TN. This full-time role involves hands-on field work handling water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration, with on-call duties and overtime opportunities.
You will manage on-site equipment configurations, perform moisture monitoring, and communicate clearly with property owners during stressful crises, while ensuring safety and adherence to industry
Qualifications
- Experience with physical labor in mitigation/restoration environments.
- Proficient in using hand tools and moisture measurement devices.
- Willing to work in crawl spaces, attics, and damaged structures.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds and work long shifts.
- On-call schedule flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily field mitigation tasks including water extraction and debris removal.
- Position drying equipment to stabilize environments.
- Monitor moisture readings and document for insurance validation.
- Collaborate with property owners during emergencies to provide updates.
- Enforce safety protocols and follow IICRC guidelines.
- Coordinate logistics with the Mitigation Manager to avoid delays.
