SKY Restoration DKI is looking for a skilled and driven Lead Mitigation Technician to join our team in Smiths Grove, KY. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in water/fire mitigation or restoration industry.
• IICRC WRT certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Prior leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with drying equipment, moisture detection tools, and industry software.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mitigation crews on water, fire, smoke, and storm damage restoration job sites.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and content manipulation.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
• Document job site conditions, moisture readings, and progress through daily reporting.
• Communicate with project managers, adjusters, and customers regarding job status and scope of work.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with IICRC standards and safety protocols.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on proper mitigation techniques and procedures.
