Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a Full-Time Middle School Head Custodian for the day shift in Thornton, CO. The position reports to the district and is paid hourly from Step 1 to Step 9.

Responsibilities include supervising custodial staff and ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of facilities. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in custodial work, and 2+ years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must complete district training for supervision of Classified Staff within 1 year after entering position.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in custodial field.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience; custodial supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee custodial staff and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, safety and security of facilities.
• Manage staff schedules, inventory, equipment, and custodial expenditures.
• Coordinate building repairs, seasonal projects and building system operations.
