Job summary

Great Hearts Academies in Anthem Prep seeks an energetic Middle School Cheer Program Lead to coach the school team, collaborating with K–4 and high school coaches. This role builds a unified program focused on excellence, character, and school pride.

The Athletic Coach schedules practices, manages rosters and equipment, and supports academics and character development while liaising with parents and administration. Evening and weekend availability is common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven coaching/mentoring of student-athletes is desired.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct after-school practices ~5 days per week.
• Oversee uniforms, equipment, and team rosters.
• Support academic and character development initiatives.
• Coordinate with parents, administration, and coaches.
• Coach during games, tournaments, and post-season events.
• Assist in end-of-season activities and events.
