Lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Integrations Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Development Lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions and their integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and a deep understanding of business processes.

Location: Remote with 10% travel

Duration: 12+ months

Compensation: $80/hr on C2C or $75/hr on W2

Experience Level: Minimum 10 years in Dynamics 365 F&O development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership: Lead the development team in designing and implementing Dynamics 365 F&O solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
2. Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs, including customizations, integrations, reports, and data migrations.
3. Integration Management: Develop and manage integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and other systems using Azure services, APIs, and other tools.
4. Code Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure solutions are maintainable and scalable.
5. Project Management: Oversee timelines, resources, and deliverables for successful implementation.
6. Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering continuous learning.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
8. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of latest Dynamics 365 F&O developments and recommend improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
2. Proficiency in Dynamics 365 F&O development, including X++, MorphX, and related tools.
3. Experience with Azure services, LCS, Azure DevOps, and Power Platform.
4. Strong understanding of integration frameworks such as IPaaS, Data Entities, OData, and API Management.
5. Knowledge of SQL Server, Azure SQL, and BYOD strategies.
6. Proven leadership skills and strong communication abilities.
7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
8. Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
2. Familiarity with ISV solutions and third-party integrations.
3. Understanding of GDPR and data protection compliance.
4. Experience with performance optimization and feature upgrades.
