Job summary

Nice-Pak Products, LLC is seeking a Micro Supervisor to oversee daily microbial lab operations and product release. You will coordinate OOS investigations, mentor staff, and ensure GMP/GLP compliance across the lab.

Strong leadership and communication are essential as you interact with other departments to improve quality and efficiency. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Microbiology (or related field) and at least 8 years in a leadership role within OTC drug or medical device manufacturing,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field required.
Minimum 8 years in a leadership role in OTC drug or medical device manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of FDA/FD&C Act and 21 CFR 210/211 & 11; GMP/GLP compliance.
Superior communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Oversees testing on all samples submitted for analysis, including stability, method development, and R&D support.
Trains and mentors Micro personnel on policies and procedures; assigns work tasks to ensure efficient QC function.
Coordinates and approves all OOS investigations, deviations, and NCRs; ability to complete Phase I and II investigations.
Reviews and revises laboratory policies, procedures, and test methods; participates in cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards.
Ensures laboratory equipment and calibration meet GMP/GLP standards; interfaces with other departments to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
