Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Lead Lift Truck Operator for our Hanover distribution center. You will operate gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment with lifting devices to move products and materials, following safety rules.

In addition to operating the equipment, you will train and certify newly hired LTOs, assist supervisors with planning and directing work, and support inventory and material flow.

Responsibilities

• Supports, trains and certifies newly hired LTOs
• Operates industrial powered lift truck in a safe and efficient manner
• In the absence of the Shift Supervisor the Lead will act as Supervisor as needed
• Inventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed
• Assists Supervisors and management of the facility in planning, assigning and directing work
• Assist LTO’s with daily issues
• Assist other Leads and Supervisors with ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are being followed
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned.

Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard.

Hourly Rate

$21.00 + $2.00 Shift Differential
