Job Overview:

LPL is seeking a Network Engineering Deployment Lead/Mgr., and this individual will be responsible for leading the deployment and operations of network technology at our Advisor Offices. The position directly relates to providing scalable, resilient, and secure networking solutions for LPL, our Advisors, and their clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performance group of talented network engineers, responsible for the deployment and operations of network technology across multiple Advisor Affiliate office models at LPL.
  • Assist with the engineering and architecture of LAN/WAN networking solutions with focus on branch office network connectivity performance and user experience.
  • Wide area network design, deployments, and administration of MPLS, DIA/Internet, and/or SDWAN.
  • Collaborate effectively with various Teams within the organization.
  • Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues and develop continuous improvement.
  • Must be open to travel. Travel monthly could range from 0% to 35% depending on the needs of the business

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Network Engineering experience in a Cisco-centric environment.
  • Proven experience as a technical or people leader
  • Experience in onsite branch office deployments.
  • Experience in network security hardening and controls as well as experience using network monitoring and logging tools (i.e. SolarWinds, LiveNX, ELK)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field


Preferences:

  • Financial Services Industry experience a plus.
  • Experience with Cisco SDWAN/SDA or Meraki a plus
  • Jira/Agile experience a plus


Pay Range:

$124,988-$208,313/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
