Job summary

HKA Enterprises seeks a Metrology Lead to provide technical leadership and engineering support for calibration services across the site in Windsor Locks, CT. The role ensures accurate, reliable, and timely calibration to support production, testing, and laboratory operations.

You will develop calibration standards, mentor technicians, and drive process improvements, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and maintaining measurement systems’ accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Experience in metrology, calibration, instrumentation, or related discipline preferred.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve calibration procedures and standards.
• Provide technical support for day-to-day calibration operations.
• Ensure calibration activities comply with quality requirements and standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and systems.
• Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to metrology technicians.
• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Support accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of measurement systems.
• Collaborate with production, test, laboratory, and engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes and service delivery.
