Job summary

RGBSI seeks a Metrology Laboratory Leader to provide technical leadership and engineering support for calibration services across the site. You will develop procedures, mentor technicians, and drive continuous improvement in measurement systems and equipment reliability.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, a background in metrology or calibration, and the ability to collaborate with production, test, and engineering teams to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in metrology, calibration, instrumentation, measurement systems, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and support to technicians and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with calibration procedures, laboratory equipment, or measurement systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and engineering support for the Metrology Laboratory.
• Develop, maintain, and improve calibration procedures and standards.
• Provide technical support for day-to-day calibration operations.
• Ensure calibration activities comply with applicable quality requirements and standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and systems.
• Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to metrology technicians.
• Lead automation, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of measurement systems.
• Partner with production, test, laboratory, and engineering teams to address calibration and measurement needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes, equipment performance, and overall service delivery.
