GNR has been retained by a well-known and stable organization, building out a new division for what will become the largest US supplier of semiconductor components. This is an urgent hiring need! With the boom in US Semiconductor manufacturing & the “CHIPS” Act, our client has significant funding and will initiate manufacturing in Q2 of 2025.

You’ll play a vital role, and a chance to bring a new manufacturing center on-line and experience the growth.

Position: Lead Metrology Engineer (Manufacturing Processes)

As a Lead Metrology Engineer, you will establish and integrate advanced inspection systems using laser / vision-based technologies. We are seeking an individual who can develop and implement technology-based vision measurement procedures and inspection equipment.

1. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality departments to achieve a production-ready environment, including collaboration with suppliers on equipment capabilities.
2. Define policies and procedures for capturing production and manufacturing measurements.
3. Analyze data to identify integrity and efficiency improvements within the inspection process or operational systems.
4. Bring equipment online for manufacturing inspection and measurement requirements using machine vision, optical metrology, laser, and 3D measurement systems.
5. Require a deep technical or engineering background in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, etc., with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

Offering:

Base salary + bonus + relocation package to the Saginaw, Michigan region + international travel required.
