Job Description:

The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.

Daily operations include executing the flow of all incoming and outbound merchandise samples for multiple TJX chains, assessing priorities, and delegating daily assignments amongst the Merchandise Processor team. This role involves communicating and following through with necessary departments and levels within the company, as well as identifying and anticipating the needs of the merchants to adhere to all timelines and expectations.

  1. Manage the reservation calendar daily, anticipate sample volumes, and ensure proper physical setup of samples.
  2. Assess daily sample workload of the Merchandise Processor team and delegate tasks accordingly.
  3. Anticipate the needs of the merchants and merchandise setup.
  4. Accommodate impromptu requests as they arise.
  5. Communicate with various partners, including Product Development and Merchandise Operations.
  6. Problem solve issues independently and escalate when necessary to the Supervisor.
  7. Provide feedback and suggestions to management for building efficiencies and staff development; escalate concerns as needed.
  8. Train and onboard new Merchandise Processors.
  9. Track all inbound and outbound deliveries.
  10. Manage the flow of shipments via FedEx, UPS, vendors, and the home office.
  11. Coordinate weekly charity pickups, ensuring goods are secure for transport.
  12. Prepare samples for viewing and evaluation, and distribute samples/packages to respective sections or conference rooms.
  13. Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized building, partnering with workplace services as needed, and maintaining supply needs.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For: You.

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proven ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong delegation, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to address low-level issues independently.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Quickly adopt and utilize new computer systems.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs) as needed.
