Job summary

KinderCare in Lincoln, NE is seeking a dedicated lead teacher to guide and mentor early childhood staff while implementing our curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.

You will partner with families to support their children’s care and education and collaborate with center staff to reach enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple situations.
• Active CDA Credential or candidacy to meet NAEYC requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum to meet each child's unique needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children's care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and community partners.
