Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles in Andover, MA seeks a licensed clinician supervisor to lead and mentor pre-licensed clinicians, aligned with a person-centered philosophy focused on improving access to quality mental health services. The role reports to the Regional Clinic Director and supports collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate will be independently licensed in MA, able to supervise LMHC/LICSW/Ph.D./Psy.D, and comfortable delivering care via hybrid/telehealth modalities.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field and hold licensure in their designated field.
• Must hold clinical licensure (LMHC, LICSW, Ph.D, Psy.D) and be qualified to provide supervision for clinicians seeking licensure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Initial Clinical Assessments, Developing and implementing treatment plans, Completing ongoing documentation including, but not limited to, treatment plan reviews, and case notes
• Providing excellent customer service for clients and collaborating with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Maintaining a part-time caseload of clients
• Attending and participating in all clinical staff meetings and in-service trainings
• Providing supervision as needed to master's degree clinicians seeking licensure
• Helping with administrative duties as needed to assist Regional Clinic Director

Our Andover office is conveniently located between Route 93 and Route 495. An ideal candidate will be independently licensed in MA and able to supervise pre-licensed clinicians working toward licensure. Requirements

• Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and have licensure in their designated field
• Candidates will hold clinical licensure (LMHC, LICSW, Ph.D, Psy.D) and be qualified to provide supervision for clinicians seeking licensure
• Candidates should have effective written and verbal communication skills
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability to work within a multi-cultural lens
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems
• Candidates with interest in treating children and families is a plus
• Bilingual candidates are a plus
