Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have expertise in medicinal chemistry and synthetic organic chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Design novel chemical entities and medicinal chemistry strategies to optimize potency, selectivity, and pharmacokinetic properties.
• Develop synthetic strategies for complex molecules using modern methods.
• Interpret SAR across multidisciplinary datasets and guide advancement or termination decisions.
• Lead chemistry workstreams within multidisciplinary teams and manage priorities.
• Mentor and coach other scientists to build capability within the group.
• Communicate scientific rationale and data to project teams and leadership.
• Contribute to IP generation, patent preparation, and scientific publications.
