Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Lead Technologist to join the Clinical Laboratory and provide technical leadership across subspecialties. The role supports the manager and collaborates to ensure compliant, high‑quality lab operations.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in medical or clinical laboratory science, ASCP MLT/MLS eligibility (certification preferred), and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Specialist certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of clinical laboratory experience in the applicable section may qualify.
• ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) MLT or MLS eligibility required, certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technologist performs essential duties in one or more sub-specialties of the Clinical Laboratory in a highly competent manner.
• Provides technical expertise to staff and others and acts as the Manager's designee in performing delegated tasks.
• Collaborates with the manager in making decisions in compliance with existing policies, procedures, or instructions.
