Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Lead Technologist for the Clinical Laboratory. The role requires performing essential duties in one or more sub-specialties, providing technical expertise to staff, and acting as the Manager’s designee for delegated tasks.

You will collaborate with the laboratory leadership to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and contribute to quality improvement efforts. A Bachelor's degree in medical or clinical laboratory science and ASCP MLT/MLS eligibility

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience in the applicable section.
• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or clinical laboratory science.
• ASCP MLT or MLS eligibility required, certification preferred.
• ASCP Specialist Certification highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technologist performs essential duties in one or more sub-specialties of the Clinical Laboratory.
• Provides technical expertise to staff and others and acts as the Manager’s designee for delegated tasks.
• Collaborates with the manager in making decisions in compliance with existing policies, procedures, or instructions.
