Job summary

Veterans Health Administration in San Diego, CA is seeking a Supervisory Supply Technician (Medical) to lead the Medical Supply Distribution (MSD) area of Logistics Service within the VA Health Care System.

This non-remote, on-site role requires living within commuting distance of the duty location and offers regular Monday–Friday hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a rotating schedule. Driver's license is required to interview.

Qualifications

• There is no educational substitution at this grade level.
• Experience supervising personnel in a logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Plans work for subordinates and sets priorities to meet schedules.
• Directs and manages the primary inventory point for clinical and administrative services.
• Oversees receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and materials.
• Analyzes management reports to control fund limitations and identify trends.
• Coordinates with vendors/contracts and other staff on logistics policies.
