Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or academic equivalent in Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory, Medical Technology or related field.
• MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or MLT(ASCP) or equivalent.
• 36 months of Leadership experience in a high complexity testing environment.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the work of assigned lab personnel and performing complex tests on patient samples using sophisticated equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and training to laboratory personnel and assist with interpretation of complex laboratory findings.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance programs to monitor accuracy of test results and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, FDA, and other accreditation standards.
• Ensure scheduling and adequate lab coverage during call-outs, weekends, and holidays; maintain staffing and communicate effectively with staff.
