Job summary

The role includes staff orientation and training, development of learning materials, competency exams, and participation in interviews for Lab Customer Service candidates. Supervisory duties and process documentation are also involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology, or an Associate degree plus Bachelor's in a chemical or biological science.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• ASCP certification required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversight of the send-out area and Lab Customer Service functions.
• Assist with operational workflows, billing-related processes, and coordination of services.
• Participate in training, orientation, and interview processes for Lab Customer Service staff.
• Develop and maintain learning materials, competency exams, and ongoing educational resources.
• Provide training summaries, influence staff evaluations, and assist with procedure writing.
