Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in product verification, test engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing test procedures and protocols.
• Experience with lab testing: tensile, pressure, leak, drop, aging, acoustic.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with sensors, instrumentation, data acquisition, and measurement systems.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare engineering reports.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in St. Petersburg, FL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product verification plans and test protocols.
• Lead system- and subsystem-level verification activities for medical devices.
• Translate requirements into verifiable test cases and traceability.
• Perform hands-on lab testing (mechanical, pressure, leak, drop, aging, functional).
• Analyze test data and document results; support regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
• Design, assemble, and troubleshoot test fixtures and equipment.
• Develop automation using Python, LabVIEW, or PLCs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, and systems teams.
• Communicate progress and findings to customers and leadership.
• Support test method validation and process improvements.
